About the role
The highest levels of patient care lie at the heart of our mission. Integral to this is a commitment to achieving excellent clinical and commercial outcomes based on quality service delivery. We have exciting part-time, permanent opportunities for a registered nurse looking to work in cancer care. Dunedin Hospital is the Cancer Centre for southern, with satellite treatment areas across the southern district.
- Work across a variety of areas in medical oncology, radiation oncology and haematology
- Administration of chemotherapy and all supportive treatments, monitoring patients receiving radiation therapy, and providing clinic support for patients
- Occasionally there may be times when you are needed to work within the acute ward 8C
- Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 6pm, on rostered shifts

About you
We're looking for nurses who are experienced and organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team.
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
- Previous acute Oncology/Haematology experience is preferable

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $75,773 and $106,739 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
