Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking the services of a permanent part-time registered radiology nurse to work in our department at Taranaki Base Hospital. You would be working as part of a dynamic team.
We are seeking applicants from registered nurses with current or recent significant acute nursing experience, preferably in Radiology.
This position works Monday to Friday, daytime hours, but will be rostered to rotate through the following modalities: CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound and interventional procedures including (but not limited to), angiography, angioplasty, nephrostomy’s, etc. Training will be offered for PICC Line insertions.
We require someone who is a fast learner and a strong team player, who enjoys the challenge of a unique and dynamic environment. You must be adaptable and able to react in a timely manner to clinical demands.
IV cannulation and/or previous radiology experience is preferred; however, training in all aspects of this role will be offered to the successful applicant.
