  • Rotorua Hospital, .6 FTE permanent Part-time
  • Specialised skills, NO shift work, Monday to Friday.
  • Work with a friendly team of five nurses, radiographers, clinical assistants and Radiologists, with great support and the oppourtunity to upskill with ultrasound vascular access.

About the Role

Responsibilities include consenting and preparing patients for procedures, administering contrast for CT scans, working alongside radiographers and radiologists doing interventional procedures which include biopsies, drainages, aspirations, and portacath insertions. This role also allows upskilling to ultrasound vascular access skills. We currently have five nurses within the department and work amongst a variety of modalities including ultrasound, CT, MRI and Fluoroscopy.

About you

As a Radiology Nurse you will require the following

  • At least two years Nursing experience
  • Hold a current NZ annual practicing certificate
  • Ultrasound cannulation/ PICC inserter preferable but not necessary

 

Salary range

$86,519 - $106,739 pro-rated to hours worked
