About the Role
We have a permanent 0.8FTE position available. This position is based in the main theatre department where we provide public acute and elective services, as well as private cases. Shifts are rostered Monday-Sunday, with on call after hours and at the weekends. Surgical specialties covered include: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental and Acute/Trauma.
About the Team/Location
Wairau Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 5 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Day Stay Unit.

About you
- You will be an experienced Theatre RN, EN or RNAA with the ability to care for patients undergoing a variety of acute and elective surgical procedures.
- Team work is key in the operating theatre; you will need to be a team-player with a collaborative attitude towards patient care.
