About the role

About the Team/Location

Churchill Hospital is a nine-bed private surgical facility and day stay unit located in Blenheim. We are looking for applications from NZ Registered Nurses for 2 fixed term roles 1 x 6 months and 1 x 10 months, please state in your application which role you are interested in. 

About you

  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and skills
  • A minimum of three years recent surgical nursing experience.
  • A can do motivated attitude.
  • The flexibility to work across all shifts (0645-1515, 1430-2300, 2230-0700).
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development.
