About the role

Ward 9C is a busy open 16 bed inpatient facility comprising of two acute youth beds and 14 acute adult beds with dedicated staff providing 24-hour care. Admissions come via Community Mental Health Teams or the Emergency Psychiatric Service, and cover of all the major psychiatric diagnoses. Optimise care for patients with the full range of general adult mental health disorders, including youth, mothers and babies, and eating disorders.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Experience as a New Zealand Registered Nurses and hold a current APC
  • A scope of practice that enables you to work in Mental Health
  • Hold a full driver's licence
  • Previous Mental Health experience is an advantage
