- Part time and Full time (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) permanent positions available
Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is based in the Waipapa building and currently resourced for 25 beds. We are a multidisciplinary team who see 1,800 patients annually.
We are looking for Registered Nurses who are interested in a career in ICU and who are committed to providing quality care to our ICU patients. We have a diverse patient group and provide care for a variety of diagnoses in both adults and children requiring intensive care, including those following cardio thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, spinal and trauma.
Shifts are 12 hours (8 hours during orientation) Day and Night, Monday to Sunday.

We are looking for experienced ICU Nurses to join our team. We also welcome Nurses with acute experience who are organised, intuitive, quick thinking, excellent communicate and are team players who thrive in challenging environments.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako - Skills and Experience
- ICU experience preferred (not essential)
- Required to work all shifts - Day and Night across Monday to Sunday
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
- Motivated, shows initiative and is a flexible self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously.
- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
