Restaurant Manager - Akaroa

  • $34 - $36 per hour + PIP (Profit Incentive Program)
  • Accommodation available inclusive of power/wifi for $160 - $200 p/w
  • Potential to grow into a multi-venue management role

The Opportunity
We are searching a fun-loving Restaurant Manager who leaves no stone unturned, no task unfinished AND can juggle responsibilities... well at least catch the balls! Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Making sure the restaurant and bar are running smoothly every day
  • Leading the team and training staff to deliver top-notch customer service
  • Keeping the place stocked up and ordering supplies when needed
  • Staying on top of health and safety regulations (because, safety first!)
  • Helping the team grow and always looking for ways to improve performance
  • Getting creative with marketing

Who are you?
You're an experienced Restaurant Manager who demonstrates a strong work ethic, leads from the front and you're a champion of getting things done. You're someone who would never settle for ordinary or average and you expect the same of your team. Your outgoing personality motivates and encourages others around; quite simply, you are a talented, innovative, self-motivated, super organised Restaurant Manager who strives for excellence with a 'vah voom' personality! You will need the following to be considered for this opportunity:

  • The ability to relocate to Akaroa within the next month
  • A current Managers Certificate
  • Experience leading a team in a bistro style venue
  • The ability to work across a 7-day roster
  • Previous experience with business management software such as Loaded Reports, Talkbox and Lunar HR (desirable)
