Job Description
This role is with a global bank with significant presence as one of the largest banks in the world. The role is based in the CBD of Auckland with easy access to public transport through the train station or busses.
The Role
Reports to: Head of Credit & Risk Management Department
Location: Auckland CBD
- Process applications and complete review to ensure the banks requirements are met, information of correct, all required documentation is present, compliance requirements are met, and more.
- Record accurate and relevant notes and log them in the system
- Assist with driving compliance to credit policy standard.
- Develop credit risk models and update credit policy.
- Approval of various credit products such as mortgages, credit cards etc.
- Other tasks as required by the bank
The Ideal Candidate
- A Team player attitude with clear communication and strategic process.
- Experience working with credit approve, credit management or analysis, and and understanding of retail lending.
- Risk management experience
- Local or China experience within a similar role in banking
- Proficiency in both written and verbal in English, additional fluency in Mandarin is helpful but not necessary
- Must have permanent New Zealand work rights.
