Risk and assurance enablement lead– 15month fixed term – NHQ

Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
Reporting to the National Manager Assurance and Risk, the Risk and Assurance Enablement Lead is responsible for the running of smooth risk management assessments using a risk placemat led by the organisation. You will work with tier 3 managers to create operational risk profiles, ensure oversight of risk management forums, and deliver a risk strategy. You will also provide key insights across the risk landscape.

Bring your excellent analytical skills to this diverse and varied organisation. This is a rapidly changing environment, so your emotional maturity and resilience will be required. You will have a strong ability to build and manage relationships.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
- Proven experience within risk management
- A qualification in risk or a relevant discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working to ISO 31000 Risk Management framework
- Experience managing a large and diverse portfolio
- An understanding of Machinery of Government

The salary range for this role starts at $136,874 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
