The Role:
This position would suit someone ready to take the next step in their career! Based in Canterbury, and reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities to grow sales.  In this varied and hands-on role, you will be an integral part of the operations, helping the team to schedule, manufacture, fabricate and install windows and doors, for residential market, to ensure on time delivery. 

  • Identify sales leads and convert them into business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional solutions-based advice on aluminium joinery
  • Complete site measurements and compile professional detailed quotations
  • Assist management with operational workflow and staff priorities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally to the organisation
  • ‘Jump-in’ and help the team get product out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Commit to quality and safety procedures

  
Skills and experience

  • Experience in installation, sales or manufacturing of aluminium joinery products, or similar trade (an advantage)
  • Proven business development/account management experience (an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills
  • Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proficient administrative and computer skills
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude, driven to exceed expectations for the customer and the team
  • A valid and clean full driver’s licence
