Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary Role)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a corporate team based on the Wellington city fringe. This is a temporary role for someone ready to hit the ground running and contribute immediately.

The Details:

• Rate: $38 – $42 per hour (+ 8% holiday pay)
• Location: Wellington, city fringe (northern)
• Duration: 3-month temporary assignment with view to extend or go perm if you like it:)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full end-to-end accounts payable (checking rather than entering)
• Reconcile GL ledgers, credit cards, and bank accounts
• Credit card recs
• Resolve invoice issues and ensure accurate, timely payments
• Work with internal teams and suppliers to address any discrepancies

Required Skills:

• Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and V-lookups)
• Experience with GL Ledger reconciliations
• Proven experience with Credit Card and Bank Recs
• Strong communication skills – ability to identify and address issues directly
