This is an exciting time to join the Food Risk Management directorate as we are recruiting to support the regulatory regime for imported foods. Volumes of imported food increase each year and come from more diverse markets. Ensuring the imported food regulatory system remains up to date and responsive is more important than ever.

This Senior Adviser role will focus on the management and improvement of the services we provide to internal and external stakeholders and the robustness of our border management system and food import system overall. You will engage with and support our stakeholders working across the joint border management system, such as our border officers, approved laboratories and other government partners.

In this role you will encounter exciting opportunities for collaboration on work, providing you the platform to interact with food businesses, industry representatives and other agencies in the regulatory system.
