  • Wellington based 18-month Secondment opportunity
  • Salary range $125,438 – $139,376, actual salary dependent on skills and experience

 

Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role

The Senior Advisor Deployments is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous process improvement of all national and international deployable functions for Fire and Emergency New Zealand.

 

This position will implement strategic business plans for National and International Response and develop an integrated approach to all deployments. You will work collaboratively across all service delivery to deliver national and international response work. This will involve ensuring strong engagement across New Zealand, and taking into account community risks.

Bring your strong operational coordination capabilities including planning, workforce management,

and risk management. You will have experience delivering on projects or programmes of work and managing people.

 

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:

  • Significant experience in developing and implementing business and organisational strategies
  • Proven experience with partner agencies at a strategic level
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and time management
  • Project and asset management skills
  • Deployment experience

 

The salary range for this role is $125,438 – $139,376, dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
