18 month fixed term role.

As the Senior Advisor - People Systems, Remuneration and Insights, you will play a critical role in establishing and optimising HR systems, processes, and reporting capabilities at the Electoral Commission. This pivotal role involves implementing integrated HR systems, developing data-driven insights, and contributing to strategic remuneration practices that support our commitment to fair and competitive compensation.

This is a Grade 17 role, with a salary band of $103,982 - $115,536.

Key responsibilities

  • HR Systems Implementation: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems
  • Data Management and Analytics: Develop interactive reporting tools and conduct in-depth workforce data analysis
  • Remuneration Strategy: Support the development of competitive and fair compensation policies
  • Process Optimisation: Design and implement efficient HR processes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Automation: Identify and implement opportunities to automate routine HR tasks

Mōhou ake | About you

You are an experienced HR professional with exceptional technical and analytical skills. You will also bring:

  • In-depth HRIS or payroll systems expertise
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience in workforce management and job evaluation
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A commitment to understanding and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
