Senior Advisor, Strategy, Investment & Performance - Te Puna Aonui
Location: Wellington
Fixed Term: 12 Months

We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy—Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whānau at the heart of everything we do.
Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Te Puna Aonui is seeking a fixed term (12 months) Senior Advisor, Strategy, Investment & Performance with exceptional programme and project management skills to join a new multi-disciplinary and flexible team.
This role will be dedicated to supporting the mobilisation and coordination of our new Te Aorerekura Action Plan.
Working alongside the Manager for Strategy, Investment and Performance, you will support the effective coordination of the Action Plan portfolio, assisting with governance; providing advice to senior leaders; and supporting the management of activities, risks and issues to help drive delivery towards our strategic goals.

Ō pūkenga/skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- A project or programme management qualification (PRINCE 2, AGILE, MSP) would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 4 years public sector experience in managing and delivering projects / programmes.
- Sound planning and organisation, including the ability to prioritise activities and plan to deliver critical milestones.
- Ability to actively manage dependencies, risks and issues
- Experience of providing governance support to senior leaders
- Preparation of reports and advice to senior leaders and Ministers (Briefings, AMs, Dashboard Exception Reports, Project Reporting)
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- An awareness and / or understanding of family violence and sexual violence.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $110,766 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
