Senior Architectural Technician

Grada Recruitment have partnered with a medium sized NZIA practice in the heart of Auckland’s CBD looking for a confident, experienced Technician, able to lead and work autonomously on projects.

About the role

• Work on a range of residential and commercial projects such as large scale commercial, hotels, community and overseas projects. 
• Get out on site, co-ordinating and liaising with the contractors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Collaborating and leading a team of technicians, leading and mentoring on projects.
• Preparing building designs and highly detailed working drawings, sketches and specifications by hand or using specialist computer-aided design.

What the client is looking for

• 5+ years’ experience as a Technician, ideally in Revit. 
• Revit and Archicad experience highly desirable 
• Exposure to all stages of the documentation process
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent design qualification 
• Excellent verbal and written communication
