Our customer is working on a SAP Upgrade & Improvements Programme
 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to play a critical role in their SAP Upgrade & Improvements Programme.

This position is essential to managing and enhancing their procurement processes, specifically by introducing purchase order management and embedding new processes that ensure policy compliance and meet essential information requirements. 

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities: 
  • Gather and document comprehensive business requirements to support the programme’s objectives. 
  • Develop and articulate user cases that align with business goals. 
  • Collaborate on detailed design documents to guide implementation. 
  • Create, refine, and manage test scripts and associated documentation. 
  • Produce deliverables related to the successful execution of test scripts. 
  • Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to foster alignment and engagement. 
  • Design, review, and potentially deliver training material tailored to user needs. 
  • Work with the business team to draft, finalise, and implement policy and procedure documentation, including completing the purchase order policy design. 
This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth transition to the improved SAP processes and systems, while fostering compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organisational policies.  

Mandatory Competencies:

    • Experienced business analyst (5 years+)
    • Purchase Order management process experience
    • Policy definition and writing experience
    • Strong business and technical documentation skills
    • Process mapping - Visio
Highly Preferred Competencies:
  • Purchase Order system implementation experience
  • Testing experience – Excel & Jira tool
  • Training end users experience
  • Exposure to SAP ERP – ideally Purchase Orders and Contracts (ECC6)
  • Exposure to All of Government Common Process Model for process design – Finance and Procurement processes
  • Agile Team and software release methodology experience
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable system implementations – as another stream in the project will be implementing invoice management improvements in parallel with the purchase order management implementation
