Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

The purpose of the Senior Business Analyst role is to undertake methodical investigation, analysis, and review to produce good quality products that contribute to the design, definition, development, and delivery of change that matters in Te Toki Transport Services. You will often work in a matrix approach on various initiatives, where people and practice leadership sit in Te Toki Atamai team, but deliverables are managed by a business owner in another part of Te Toki. Due to this way of working, this role is also responsible for ensuring work is in line with all strategic deliverables, particularly the groups strategic response to Te kāpehu, our organisational strategy.

What You'll Do:

• Dive deep into analysis, investigation, and problem-solving to drive meaningful change.
  
• Collaborate across teams and projects, working with stakeholders to understand challenges and unlock opportunities.
  
• Craft solutions that are not just customer-centered but also cost-effective and future-proof.
  
• Lead the business analysis charge, shaping strategies that align with the big picture.
  
• Work with tools like Scrum, service blueprints, and more - all while championing a collaborative, agile approach

Ko koe tēnei | About you:

The ideal candidate will bring significant and proven experience in Business Analysis with a strong understanding of and experience with a wide variety of analytical techniques and tools.

• 5+ years of proven business analysis expertise.
  
• A problem-solver who turns complex ideas into simple, actionable insights.
  
• Experience in service design and agile methodologies? That's a bonus!
  
• An agile mindset with a strong commitment to customer-focused solutions.
  

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in business, technology, or information - or equivalent experience.
  
• Certifications in Business Analysis or agile methods? Even better!
