The Company & The Role:
We're seeking a talented individual with a passion for designing and analysing civil infrastructure structures to support the growth of this industry-leading consulting business. An opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, including marine infrastructure, commercial projects, and more.
You'll collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
There will likely be some travel involved with a focus on recovery efforts to the upper half of the North Island (Tauranga) and clients in the Eastern and Central/Southern regions. These clients would be a mix of disaster recovery, seismic assessment, and remedial design.
The position is not technically a Team Leader; however, the role has a view of being a senior member - providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of staff.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of consultancy experience, with a broad variety of project exposure - not just residential-only work
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Understand how to work at a national level (not just Auckland)
- CPEng is a bonus but not mandatory
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and also mentor a team
