Senior Digital Content Developer
Te Papa is Aotearoa New Zealand's national museum, renowned for being bicultural, research-driven, and innovative. Te Papa is a looking for an experienced content creator and collaborator to join the Digital Channels team in making the collections, experiences, research and mātauranga available to Aotearoa New Zealand, the Pacific and beyond. This role is foundational in the delivery of the Digital Museum, and will be part of shaping a transformational future of how audiences and communities engage with the museum digitally. A key focus of this role is collaborating with community, internal teams, and subject matter experts to produce impactful content and bring community voices to Te Papa's digital platforms. Cultural competency is a must.
The successful applicant will have:
- Significant experience in producing creative, persuasive, engaging digital content for a variety of platforms and media.
- High cultural competency and excellent relationship management.
- Leadership experience in complex situations.
- Experience contributing to and championing visionary digital strategies.
- Excellent written communication, including impeccable spelling and grammar, creative writing, research and editing skills.
- Advanced web content production experience.
The starting salary for this position will be between $83,264 to $98,875 with further room for progression through the band. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees. Applicants must have the ability to obtain and maintain the legal right to work in New Zealand.
