Senior HR advisor | HR Advisor

Are you an experienced HR advisor looking for work available immediately?
We are working alongside a market leading manufacturing company who is looking for a HR advisor for the next 3 - 6 months

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Hybrid 00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday –
• Flexibility: Initially onsite with some flexibility for remote work as the assignment progresses
• Hourly rate:$38.00 - $55 + 8% holiday pay (this is dependant on your level of experience) 
• Location: West Auckland (on-site parking available)

Based in Avondale we are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a manufacturing/FMCG background and experience working in both white-collar/ blue-collar environments. You will be reporting directly to the HR Manager and supporting in key areas of HR, including Remuneration reviews, performance management, and policy development.
What will you be doing?

• Assist managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and grievance processes.
• Policy Development - Help maintain and update communications policies and procedures.
• Recruitment Support: Aid in onboarding processes, including drafting offer letters and IT setup.
• Record Keeping: Ensure all HR records are accurate and up to date.
• Training: Collaborate with the GM NZ & AU HR Manager’s to deliver training on HR modules, specifically focusing on core and talent management.
• System Improvement: Support the transition to a unified human capital system on Oracle, moving from a paper-based approach.

 
What are they looking for?

• Proven experience working as a HR advisor position, where you are able to work autonomously
• Have experience in a blue-collar and white-collar industry, such as manufacturing or construction.
• Have previously worked with unionised organisations.
