We are looking for a permanent Senior Marketing Cloud Engineer to join our team at ACC.
Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be leading the day-to-day activities of ACCs Salesforce platform and ensuring solutions and new features meet customer needs and are developed in accordance with best practices. Part of your role will involve mentoring and supporting the development of Junior and Intermediate Platform Engineers, so you will be in your element demonstrating engineering best practice and supporting with pair programming and reviews.
Our Salesforce environment is a complex platform with multiple applications using more than one Salesforce product which includes Marketing Cloud and Marketing Cloud Intelligence
You will support and enhance a complex, growing platform with multiple apps. Deliver transparent, integrated, and fit-for-purpose change continuously across ACC.
Ideally you will be located in Wellington however we are open to other areas of New Zealand

Your technical skills:
- Proven hands-on experience in creating and maintain customer journeys in Marketing Cloud, ability to us modules like Automation Studio, Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder and Contact Builder.
- You are an expert in using AmpScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Sound understanding of modern development techniques and DevOps frameworks such as Flow, Unit testing and CI/CD. Experience in deploying changes within Marketing Cloud Business Units using Package Manager.
- Understanding of other Marketing Cloud or the core Salesforce products such as Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Personalization, Marketing Cloud Intelligence etc would be an advantage.
What we are looking for from you to be successful in this role:
- Lead and be the expert providing the technical solution, development, implementation and maintenance on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
- Create and maintain relevant technical design and support documentation
- Support Junior and Intermediate Platform Engineers growth through pair programming, reviews, knowledge sharing, mentoring and demonstration of engineering best-practices
- Represent the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform to clearly articulate and communicate the vision for the platform to enable us to improve engagement and communication between key stakeholders both internally and externally.
