About the opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a degree-qualified mechanical engineer to join our clients experienced engineering team. The team is responsible for the company's project design work and engineering development. As part of this team, you will work on various challenging and interesting projects, including ongoing innovative R&D work. Projects include equipment design, piping design, process heat solutions, conveying machinery, and low-temperature developments.
This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities:
- Consistently produce accurate work using 3D Mechanical CAD (Inventor) and 2D mechanical drafting for concept design and partner integration.
- Demonstrate excellence in understanding mechanical concepts and innovative design, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Mentoring and checking other engineers’ work.
- Possess sound communication and interpersonal skills, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Exhibit effective planning and organizational skills, enthusiasm, and motivation for continual learning.
- Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Technology, suitable for engineers with greater than 8 years of experience
- Be a key team member in the continual improvement program, contributing to the enhancement of processes and systems.
