About the Role:  
Reporting to a General Manager - People & Culture, the Senior P&C Business Partner is a fast paced role, so being comfortable working at pace and closely with members of the executive leadership team is important.

Able to coach, influence, and communicate with senior management and the ELT, the Senior P&C Business Partner needs to be confident with giving pragmatic advice to commercially savvy leaders around all things People & Culture, including discussing the career plans of their people and maintaining focus on continuous improvement and positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic goals by recognising needs, collaborating with the wider P&C team, and developing and implementing people-related solutions across your portfolio.
  • Lead and collaborate on key initiatives, translating business requirements into scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions while ensuring effective change management and continuous improvement of people practices.
  • Partner with senior leaders to coach, influence, and build leadership capability, ensuring successful implementation and change management across the employee journey, including talent management, performance management, and capability building.
  • Utilise data and analytics to provide insights, enhance team experience, track KPIs, and inform stakeholders on progress, celebrating successes or adjusting strategies as needed.
About You:
  • Proven senior HR Business Partner with solid generalist experience and ideally experienced in the Agile methodology.
  • Experience gained in a large corporate environment and within a good P&C team that was high-performing. 
  • Exceptional relationship-building and engagement skills, with the ability to deliver tailored people solutions that support strategic objectives.
  • Confident with NZ employment legislation and experience coaching senior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Able to influence senior level stakeholders ensuring best practise and genuine care for people. Comfortable pushing back when needed.
  • Experience in an organisation with a trans-Tasman operation or in a global business would be beneficial but it’s not essential if you are confident navigating complexity and ambiguity.
  • Friendly & down to earth, you will be energised and passionate about adding value.
