Our team is committed to continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare services. We are looking for a senior pharmacist to join our dedicated team who has previous experience OR an interest/passion to provide high quality clinical pharmacy services to our paediatric service AND adult oncology/haematology patients.
As a Senior Pharmacist you will work closely with the Paediatric and Adult Oncology/Haematology teams, providing clinical guidance, medication expertise, and contributing to the overall patient care. You will join a supportive, inclusive and diverse work environment, where you will play a vital role in supporting and educating our clinical pharmacy team. You will also have variety in your day by providing clinical services to other areas as required as well as contributing to a manageable dispensary rostered session.
You will be provided with on-the-job training with continuous improvement and development opportunities. We offer free staff car parking, discount with local business and free flu vaccinations.

Successful applicants:
- Be a NZ Registered Pharmacist or eligible to register soon
- Be willing to participate in an on-call roster will be required (about every 6-8 weeks).
- Will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, adaptability, and resilience.
- Will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest developments in clinical pharmacy is essential.
- Effective communication is crucial in this role. You will need to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Healthcare environments can be dynamic. The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities is a valuable skill.
