We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Policy Analyst to join our small but mighty Pacific Health team. Based within the Public Health Agency, our team plays a key leadership role across the organisation—driving change, advocating for equity, and championing Pacific health.

We lead the implementation of Te Mana Ola: The Pacific Health Strategy 2023–2033, and we work to influence and align organisational and government priorities to deliver better outcomes for Pacific peoples in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We're seeking someone with strong policy expertise who can think strategically, collaborate widely, and bring people with them. You'll need the ability to guide, influence, and provide high-quality advice that supports meaningful change.

  • Building relationships: Collaboration is at the heart of what we do—both across the Ministry and with our Pacific communities and partners.
  • Centring Pacific voices: Ensuring that the voices of Pacific families and communities shape all our policy advice, operations, and feedback loops.
  • Leading innovation: Driving innovative and responsive approaches to key Ministry priorities that have tangible impacts on Pacific health outcomes.
  • Strategic leadership: Creating forward-thinking policy solutions and advising on work programmes that deliver real-world outcomes for Pacific communities.
