Senior/Principal Financial Analyst

As Senior/Principal Financial Analyst, your role is to provide specialist modelling and analysis to enable decision making. This includes:

• Gaining an in-depth understanding of the agency’s fiscal environment and costs drivers.
• Developing a social investment model to enable informed decision making.
• Delivering financial analysis to support budget bids and business cases.
• Providing advice and guidance to senior management on investment strategies in line with agency goals.

 
To be considered, we are looking for a capable candidate who can work strategically with senior management. This includes demonstrating:

• Relevant qualifications in finance or economics or accounting.
• Experience developing models and providing data analysis to enable investment strategies ideally within a central government agency.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with advanced financial modelling skills and the use of data analysis tools.
• Ability to work with complex data to support investment decisions and recommendations.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively with senior management.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
