Job Description
Join this agile and evolving renewable generator/developer based in Palmerston North, which has many projects across various stages.
Are you an experienced Renewable Energy Engineer with a senior level of project development experience? Or perhaps you have a keen interest in renewable energy and have transferable large scale project development experience?
Work alongside the engineering team and take the development team from two to three. With a diverse and growing national pipeline of projects, we need someone who has a proven project delivery record, who is smart, proactive, and enthusiastic. Flexibility and adaptability are also crucial in what is a rapidly changing and dynamic industry.
As part of our team:
- Identify and develop renewable energy opportunities.
- Contribute layout, civil, procurement, or electrical aspects solutions, depending on your abilities.
- Be involved in energy yield analysis for various projects from mast and lidar deployments through to data analysis.
- Have the opportunity to either support or take ownership on developing client relationships.
- Liaise with subject matter experts as required.
About You:
- Interested in renewable energy with relevant experience.
- Operated as a project engineer/director and can demonstrate successful delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects.
- Practical site based experience.
- Degree qualified in a related discipline and expert in one or more of the following: Infraworks, Python, Vortex, PVsyst, WAsP or similar.
- It’s not all about work. Into hunting, four-wheel driving, parenting, tinkering, coding? So are we!
This is a great chance to join an independent generator on the cusp of something much bigger. If you are looking for an opportunity to be the client doing big things rather than consulting for them, this is it.
It is a compelling time to be in the Energy industry as governments and corporations strive to achieve net-zero carbon targets.
Receive all the benefits that come from working in a well-funded publicly traded company, including a competitive salary, flexible work arrangements, employee assistance program, enhanced Kiwi Saver contributions, and a great opportunity to work on key projects.
Are you the next piece of the puzzle for this stable, hardworking team?
