About the role:

This is the chance to sink your teeth into a $1 billion infrastructure redevelopment capital programme in the healthcare sector. Before significant upgrades can be made to the core functional structures, the supporting facilities and infrastructure needs to be upgraded. We are looking for a dynamic Lead Project Manager to join a dedicated team and help take this programme through to completion.

Ideally you will come from a mechanical engineering background, with strong experience in HVAC, or other building services/assets gained inside a engineering consultancy or potentially a leading HVAC contractor. Either way, you will need polished client facing skills, strong contract administration ability & experience in both the design management & delivery of major HVAC packages, potentially in complex operational environments.

• Design Management
• Managing and coordinating contractors, consultants and key stakeholders
• Working closely with a multidisciplinary project team
• Client and stakeholder management
• Technical advisory and due diligence

Successful applicants will have:

• Ideally, 8-10 years’ in a technically demanding PM role
• A background in mechanical/industrial engineering, ideally HVAC
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A creative approach to problem solving and providing solutions
• The ability to read and understand complex plans and drawings
• A relevant tertiary qualification – for example, a BEng, BConst
