We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join us in the Technical Delivery and Quality department to deliver high quality test outcomes.

Wellington based, permanent role
An expert in their field, the Senior Quality Engineer is a capable functional tester with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complement their test automation capability. Technically proficient in multiple languages, they can suggest useful improvements to existing code and frameworks, perform reviews of code and test coverage and support other team members to use frameworks and tools correctly. Senior Quality Engineers can deliver high quality test outcomes at a high cadence and uplift the velocity of the team.
Mōu | About you
This is a new role in the Technical Delivery and Quality Practice. We are looking for someone who is equally capable and enthusiastic about writing and performing manual functional tests and automating tests. You will be able to determine when to automate and when not to and be able to articulate why. You will easily be able to determine if we are building the thing right, but more importantly are we building the right thing.
You will have:
- 4+ years' experience of extensive functional testing
- 3+ years experience in test automation or development
- Understanding of API and UI test automation experience
- Hands on coding experience with test automation using tools such as Java, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver etc.
- Experience with software development tools such as IntelliJ and other IDEs, Maven, GIT, Postman, SoapUI, database tools etc.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
