About the Role
As a Senior Radio Engineer you’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and development of radio and communication systems. You’ll work on tasks ranging from fault diagnosis and repair to supporting large-scale operational events.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair radio and vehicle electrical faults.
• Build, programme, and maintain vehicle and station communication systems.
• Deploy portable repeaters and support large-scale events.
• Manage stock, oversee installations, and collaborate with third-party providers.
• Test, evaluate, and implement new communication solutions.

About you

You are an experienced, solutions-focused radio engineer with a hands-on approach, great communication skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments. You'll bring:

• Extensive experience in radio engineering and fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of Tait radio systems and communications infrastructure.
• Practical skills in vehicle electrical systems and ancillary equipment repair.
• Strong project coordination and documentation skills. 
• Ability to work independently, deploy during operational events, and maintain national consistency in processes.
