As a Senior Structural Engineer with CPEng status, your responsibilities will span technical engineering services, project management, and relationship building with clients. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Chartered Professional Engineer who values integrity, professionalism, and a passion for engineering. Strong technical ability in structural design, analysis, drawing review, and construction monitoring is essential, with civil engineering experience being a plus.
You will oversee the complete process of a wide range of structural projects from construction monitoring, high-end residential and commercial buildings.
As a small business, the company selectively takes on projects in the sustainable space, focusing on preferred exciting projects.

About You
- Honest, hardworking, and detail-oriented
- Passionate about engineering with a high degree of self-management
- Collaborative, responsible, and positive in attitude
- Comfortable working independently and managing full consulting services
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and analysis software (e.g., SkyCiv, Bluebeam, MemDes, Xero)
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Committed to personal and professional growth, with a service-oriented mindset
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree accredited by the Washington Accord
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) with Engineering New Zealand, or working towards this qualification
- Approximately 7 years of experience in low-rise building design
- Some experience mentoring junior engineers is preferred
