About the Role

A leading structural engineering consultancy, known for its expertise in high-end residential projects, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team in Auckland's CBD.

As part of an innovative and collaborative team of nine engineers, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design and execution of prestigious residential developments across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of high-end residential structures.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of three junior engineers.
  • Perform structural assessments, generate technical reports, and develop detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring accurate implementation of designs and providing technical guidance as needed.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare reports on the structural status of existing buildings and infrastructure.

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in New Zealand.
  • CPEng certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
