Job Description
Are you an experienced Service Desk professional with a passion for problem-solving and excellent customer service? We are on the hunt for a skilled Service Desk Support Specialist
for a contract role in Te Puke, working three days a week. This is not a remote role and must be done onsite. This is a great opportunity to make an impact while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.
What you'll do:
- Manage and resolve tickets on the internal customer ticketing system.
- Provide technical exceptions to customers as needed, following client guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Install and test hardware and software.
- Install and upgrade operating systems on PCs and laptops using SCCM Management.
- Migrate user data from Windows 7 to Windows 10/11.
- Create and remove user accounts on SCCM Server.
- Deploy and upgrade software using Intune/SCCM Management Tools.
- Upgrade hardware on PCs and laptops.
- Support and manage HA and DHB end users with technical assistance.
- Perform Level 1-2 technical support tasks.
- Take complete ownership of customer issues, inquiries, and escalated tickets in line with client procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and work well in a team environment.
