Job Description

The role
- Manage onsite operations to ensure work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and to company specifications
- Accurately interpret plans, specifications and instructions and supervise construction of the works in terms of them.
- Manage subcontractor scopes of works, subcontractor sequencing, and daily issues onsite
- Be a key contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and utilise your strong account management skills to help projects run smoothly
- Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, including project controls, progress reports and administration
The candidate
- Experience running construction sites
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand building codes and associated legislations
- Experience with sub-contractor management
- 5 + years’ experience in site management, at least 3 of these years based in New Zealand
- A history of promoting site safety, along with relevant training and certifications
- Experience with all aspects of civil, residential, and commercial site management will be highly regarded.
