Job Description
Main duties:
- Manage and supervise all site activities for installation of facades on commercial building projects.
- Health and Safety, and QA/QC duties
- Develop and maintain communication between internal and external stakeholders, third party designers, engineering consultants, main contractors and council
- Organise, manage and drive installers on-site
- Identify and address issues that arise during the construction and installation process, working towards solutions in a methodical and systemic way
- Maintain accurate project documentation (site records, progress reports, QA, health and safety reports, compliance documentation
Experience required:
- A minimum of 3-4 years experience in facade construction in a site supervisor or site manager role
- Good understanding of facade systems, vertical construction, materials, methodologies.
- The ability to manage and lead site teams effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with people at any level from labourer to client.
- Able to identify issues and mitigate risks effectively
