Situated in the picturesque Auckland region, both Waitākere and the North Shore provide a unique lifestyle that comes with living in a vibrant and diverse urban centre, with beaches and open spaces around just about every corner.
We have the opportunity for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, based across Waitākere Hospital (271 Beds) and North Shore Hospital (631 Beds). Te Whatu Ora, Waitematā District serves an ever-growing population of over 640,000 people, throughout the communities in the western and northern regions of Auckland. This is a fixed term position covering a staff member on parental leave, with an anticipated end date of May 2025. The position is part time at 0.6FTE (64 hours per fortnight).
One of the attractions is the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic imaging team. These busy ultrasound departments will offer you work that will be varied and interesting including General, Obstetrics, Paediatric, Vascular and some Musculoskeletal examinations.
As these are training hospitals, you will be able to broaden your knowledge and experience and further develop your career whilst making a valued contribution to the teaching of others.
We are seeking a Sonographer with a passion for teaching, learning, and working in a team environment. General, Obstetric and Small part Ultrasound experience is essential. Vascular, Musculoskeletal and Paediatric experience is desired.
You will require qualifications that are recognised by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and must hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
