The role
Working alongside experienced forward-thinking owners and a talented Executive Chef that will appreciate your culinary efforts, the Sous Chef role is a vital part of the leadership team.
You'll lead the kitchen team across 5 evening services each week, ensuring the seamless flow of service of the restaurant & function areas, which often operate simultaneously.

You'll come with a strong repertoire of flavours and creative genius you enjoy delicious food and love being part of a successful brigade who love doing what you do. As Sous, you'll be part of a team where you can pass on your talent and experience, helping with mentoring others and work within a good ethos, vision and vibe. We are wanting to hear from the candidates with the following:
  • Experience in event catering and working in multi-outlet venues or hotels
  • Leadership experience is essential either as a Sous or Head Chef
  • Can commit to a minimum of 40 hours a week across 5 afternoon/evening shifts - days off are negotiable
  • Either lives in Tauranga or is happy to relocate ASAP
  • Have a legal right to work in NZ at the time of application
