80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE)
Over the past few years our Perioperative Unit has been undergoing an exciting transformation. We now have a new PACU, DOSA, an upgrade to our Sterile Services and a new Operating Theatre.
In Hawke’s Bay, we offer exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties, including Vascular, complex Laparoscopic and Orthopaedic surgeries. Our acute Theatre runs 24/7 and we have an Orthopaedic Trauma Theatre which runs 6 days out of 7. We cover all secondary public hospital specialties and perform on average 12,000 procedures per annum.
We have a large population catchment, which means our teams are involved in some very complex surgical procedures, both elective and acutely, hence the learning opportunities with us are vast.
We are now looking for the following position: Sterile Service Technician
