About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to provide administrative support and coordination to ensure efficient and effective operations. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the heart of supporting the IPC team and play a crucial part in driving their success. You'll coordinate across various plans, ensuring smooth communication and seamless project execution. From managing meetings, preparing agendas, and developing presentations you'll help shape the team's impact. Your role will be essential in keeping everything running efficiently, with a focus on delivering client-centric solutions at every step. About the Team/Service/ Location
This role will work with the IPC programme manager and IPC lead within the Office Chief Clinical Officer (OCCO) to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care to achieve Health New Zealand goals.
About you
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills, able to build rapport quickly and manage tasks efficiently. You'll bring a solid understanding of office management procedures, the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, and a readiness to adapt during times of change. We are looking for someone to support the team through coordination, reporting, meeting management, and preparation of presentations and documents.
- Secondary school NCEA.
- Experience providing support and administrative services in complex business environments with multiple stakeholders across multiple activities (in the range of 5+ years).
- Experience working in a business function dealing with confidential, private, and sensitive information.
- Proficiency in desktop applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, preferably PowerBI.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
