About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Team Administrator to join our team. This role works as an integral member of both teams supporting them to provide high quality clinical care. The successful candidate will pride themselves on their reliability, organisation skills and radiate a dynamic and enthusiastic customer focused attitude.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Awhi Mātua Fraser McDonald Unit is a 15-bed inpatient unit serving the central Auckland population. It is a 24-hour service that provides specialist assessment, treatment and diagnosis to people experiencing acute mental illness or behavioural difficulties associated with dementia. This is primarily for adults over 65 with mental illness, or for adults of any age who have a diagnosis of dementia and are experiencing associated behavioural difficulties.
The ECT service delivers electroconvulsive therapy to inpatients and community patients and the small team consists of a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Nurse Specialist.
