- Team Administrator Specialist and Community Services Group, Hawkes Bay Hospital, Permanent part time 0.7 FTE (56 hours per fortnight)
- This role works with the Operations Managers within Specialist and Community Services. Your administration support will help our teams to deliver high quality health services to our communities.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail orientated, innovative individual who excels in problem solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join us as a Team Administrator. This super star would be working as an Administrator for our busy Specialist and Community Services Group, supporting our Operational Managers. Your main responsibility is to provide accurate and efficient administration duties while providing professional support to both external and internal customers.
You will need to be self-motivated, energetic and results driven in this ever-changing environment. You will have a passion for making a difference, achieving results, and be hungry for a challenge. Naturally, you will be able to recognise the needs, aims, and aspirations of whānau from all culturally diverse groups within our community.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy administrative role, healthcare experience is an advantage. You must be able to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
We are seeking someone available for to work 56 hours per fortnight, Monday – Friday.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The role is based on campus at Hawkes Bay Hospital. Our vision is to provide Integrated Care Teams that will support whānau to be well at home in their communities.
Specialist and Community Services Group is made up of four Integrated Care Teams with Operations Managers who work in partnership with the Group Leadership Team.
- Woman & Children– Maternity, Paediatrics Services, Oral Health, Child Development Services and Audiology
- Long Term Conditions– Renal, Clinical Pharmacy, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nurse Practitioners, and Community Nursing including District Nurses, Continence, Ostomy, Wound Service, Community CNS, Better Breathe and the Home Oxygen Service.
- Rural and Localities– Napier, Wairoa and Central Hawkes Bay
- Rehabilitation and Support Services– Needs Assessment Service Coordination/NASC, Te Whata Moanarua/In-patient Allied Health Services and Hoki ki te Kainga/Early Support Discharge and Engage/Community Allied Health.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- 2 years + experience in an administration role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in scheduling and arranging meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Great communication and relationship skills
- Expert typing skills
- An ability to work autonomously but still love being part of a team
- A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role.
