Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Team Leader in Claims Assessment, you will join a cohesive leadership team who are dedicated to providing a positive employee experience through engagement, motivation and empowerment of their teams, in an environment that also ensures that you are well supported.
You will lead a team which may include Cover Assessors, Lodgement Administrators and/or Treatment and Support Assessors. Currently, we are looking for an experienced leader or a person who displays strong leadership skills.
In this role you will empower your team and individuals to provide proactive, efficient support to ensure our clients receive a quality decision on their claims in a timely manner, enabling recovery and rehabilitation.

What we are looking for:
- Leadership experience in a customer focused or service delivery environment or demonstrated leadership within a team or project.
- Proven ability to motivate operational teams to achieve quality customer outcomes using data and insights.
- Experience coaching people to achieve results, adapting your approach to suit individual needs and styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to make decisions in complex and/or challenging situations.
Ngā Kawatau | What to expect
The indicative starting salary is $101,287 - $119,161, depending on your skills and experience, plus a 9% superannuation contribution.
