Due to recent business structure changes, a rare opportunity has presented for an experienced technical support leader to join a progressive financial services business based in Auckland’s CBD.

Reporting into the senior leadership team you will provide an exceptional level of technical leadership capabilities with a core focus on modern workplace optimisation management.

The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience (8+ years) leading a team of technical end user support, application engineers and service desk engineers.
  • Experience working within a modern enterprise environment at within a large scale corporate environment.
  • Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to lead from the front with maturity.
  • Proven recent experience managing a large team of End User Engineers who are responsible for M365 platforms, SharePoint Online, Meeting room telephony, team telephony, Atlassian suite and all user devices.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members in a variety of locations.
  • Experience leading and managing End User Services teams including Service Desk.
  • Proven experience leading, influencing, and building credibility across a range of internal stakeholders.
  • Specific knowledge and skill to run IT Incident and problem management processes with a deep understanding of modern workplace environments preferred.
  • Skilled in developing performance reporting in relation to End User Services.
  • Excellent influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading, building, developing and enabling high performing collaborative teams.
