Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
The Team Leader Learning Operations role focuses on overseeing and optimising the learning and development (L&D) function within the organisation, delivery of training programs, courses & exams, but mainly a strong focus of the running of our training facilities for our Training Centres across the country. The Team Leader for Learning Operations is responsible for ensuring that these services are provided in a professional, efficient, and consistent manner while also being a subject matter expert on corporate policies and procedures.
- Servicing as subject matter expert for corporate policy and procedures and Learning and Development process.
- Developing and reviewing Learning & Development business processes and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and best practices.
- Identifying opportunities for enhancing processes and practices to ensure improvement from the perspective of efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, and quality.
- The Team Leader works closely with other colleagues, particularly with the Manager of Learning Operations, to drive positive outcomes. Collaboration is key to ensuring that L&D strategies align with the broader goals of the organisation.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Effective business management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ICT business support systems.
- Fully competent in the MS suite of applications.
- An understanding of good employer principles, relevant HR business processes and policies, and their application.
