The organisation:
A well-established and successful electrical wholesaler with over 75 years trading throughout the South Island. Committed firmly to sustainability across the organisation, they are a one-stop shop for all industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical needs. Their loyal customer base is a direct result of being able to deliver successful outcomes with exceptional service.
The role:
You will provide an excellent level of customer service and sales to customers who visit or communicate with the branch. Working closely with the branch manager and the wider administration team, you will also liaise with other branches in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Direct point of contact for customers via counter sales, telephone and email
- Processing of accurate sales transactions
- Building strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Receipting of inwards goods
- Ensure customer orders are accurately picked and dispatched immediately
- Manage stock returns and manage replacements
- Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety Policy
Skills and experience:
- Highly proficient communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the electrical industry or experience within a trade environment highly regarded
- Experienced with inwards & outwards goods and stock management
- Ability to build relationships with peers, management, clients and suppliers
- Strong administration and computer skills
- Great time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work deadlines under pressure
