Our client is a company based in New Zealand that specializes in traffic management & engineering solutions, including custom-built trucks, equipment rental, and the preparation and execution of plans and training. 
   
At present, we are looking for a Traffic Control Manager with good communication skills and who is capable of working in various weather conditions to manage traffic flow and ensure safety.   
  
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Placing Signs, Cones, Barriers & Other Traffic Control Devices To Redirect Traffic  
• Create Detours  
• Implementing Traffic Management Plans  
• Using Radios, Flags & Hand Signals To Direct Traffic  
• Directing Traffic As Needed Including Stopping, Slowing Or Rerouting Vehicles  
• Regularly Checking & Maintaining Traffic Control Such As Signs, Cones, & Lighting  
• Keeping Records Of Traffic Management Activities & Incidents  
• Delivering Traffic Equipment To Sites   
• Other Duties As Required

The successful candidate must have a valid Class 1 license with an STMS A-B Practicing / 1-2-3 ticket. Must pass pre-employment drug test, MOJ and medical if needed. Prior experience is an advantage. Open for NZ Citizens / Residents and with a valid open work visa.
