Mō te tūnga | About the role
We have an opportunity for a Vetting Administrator to join our Talent Acquisition Team. As a Vetting Administrator, you will primarily have a focus on processing pre-employment vetting checks, you will also gain end to end recruitment exposure and support our frontline Recruiters. As part of this role you will also be responsible for assisting with our periodic safety checking programme.
Responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with internal kaimahi (employees) on requirements to complete safety checks
- Tracking, recording and updating internal systems
- Daily use of MS forms, excel and SAP HRIS systems
- Responding to and triaging recruitment and safety checking enquiries and arranging various pre-employment checks
- Working with our Recruitment team to ensure candidates are suitably vetted and reference checked for frontline positions
- Looking after several shared inboxes and completing a range of tasks.
- Booking candidates for interview as and when required.
This is an opportunity to gain experience in a new area where you can utilise your administration and communication skills and contribute to helping us keep the Tamariki and Rangatahi safe whilst in our care.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
This role will suit administrators interested in gaining further experience in Recruitment and Human Resources. You will have sound experience and an ability to prioritise and manage a variety of tasks.
You will be able to navigate cloud-based storage and Microsoft software to a high degree, show sound written communication skills and provide a high level of customer service. Attention to detail is an important skill required for these positions.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Experience with pre-employment vetting checks such as police vetting would be an advantage
- Experience in a similar position is desirable, however full training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver a high degree of accuracy and quality
- Strong problem-solving skills, along with a strong customer focus
- Proven organisation skills and be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
- Understanding of recruitment processes, privacy and candidate care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders in writing and via calls.
- Intermediate Excel experience including the use of formulas would also be an advantage but not essential.
