Warehouse Assistance - Forklift Drivers (Multiple Positions)

Are you looking for an opportunity to join a major cold chain supply and logistics company based in Ruakura? Our client offers world leading transportation services and has made their position known having recently built their new facility. We're seeking skilled reach truck and counterbalance forklift drivers to join the team.

About the role:

The shift we are looking to hire for are:

• 3x Monday to Friday 0500-1300 - Counterbalance & Reach Truck
• 2x Monday to Friday 1300-2100 - Counterbalance & Reach Truck
• 1x Monday to Friday 1300-2100 - Supervisor

You MUST be comfortable working in cold store temperatures. What's to offer? Great team culture, great people, and continuous growth.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour duties as assigned, including but not limited to lifting and moving materials, general cleaning and assisting skilled tradespeople.
• Inspecting and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines and always maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Specialist Cold Store Forklift Operation ranging from counterbalance to reach truck. Two years' experience minimum to keep up with a busy environment.

Candidates should possess:

• Valid OSH/Reach truck licence and f endorsement (required)
• Previous experience logistics and manufacturing or in a similar role preferred
• Attitude and adaptability while showing a willingness to be part of the growing team.
• Knowledge and previous experience of site safety rules and regulations in a warehousing environment
• Reliable transport and clean full driver's license.
• Two professional work references.
• Willingness to learn and being able to use initiative.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Pass a pre-employment drug
• Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
